The Planning Cooperative as well as being trainers take
consulting roles for local authorities, public organisations like the Environment Agency and Natural England, and on occasion private clients. You must have a background which includes people skills
but also proven experience of a variety of practical planning and environmental issues and disciplines. |

We do not advertise for or recruit staff but have grown by like minded
individuals with complementary skills seeking to work with us in a creative and mutually supportive environment.
We do not have written policies governing recruitment or employment, however, the
practice is a member of the cooperative movement, a requirement of which is to follow the principles of equality
and fairness.
If you feel you would be interested in joining us please get in touch but be aware we do not provide salaried posts,
guaranteed work or a bureacratic organisation! It's desirable that you are environmentally minded.
We do offer the opportunity as an associate for you to get support on work or projects that are
too much for an indivdual to take on. We allow associates to run their own consultancies although you must be prepared
to combine this with support to the cooperative. Depending on your individual skill base you will assist cooperative members in project work
, consultancy and delivering training courses. We respect and encourage life work balance. Members are paid for
work completed for the Planning Cooperative on a monthly basis under the PAYE scheme.
